    Academic License Agreement

    Version 5.0 — covers License, Update, Maintenance and Support of OpendTect Pro and commercial plugins for accredited universities. The license is provided free of charge.

    Eligibility. Only accredited faculty members from a university can apply for an Academic License. Students and research institutes are not eligible. The signed form must be submitted by a University staff member who is authorized to sign on behalf of the University, with a link to a staff page on the University website for verification.

    How to apply

    1. Download the proforma Academic License Agreement (PDF).
    2. Have it signed digitally in Acrobat Professional — or printed, signed and scanned — by a University staff member authorized to sign on behalf of the institution.
    3. Email the signed form to academic.licenses@dgbes.com together with a link to the relevant University staff page for verification.
    4. dGB will countersign and return the agreement, and issue a 12-month license key for OpendTect Pro and the requested commercial plugins.
