Transforming 2D Seismic into Pseudo3D
David Markus from dGB Earth Sciences will present Pseudo3D, a cutting-edge method that utilizes Machine Learning to upgrade 2D seismic data into a more comprehensive 3D representation. This process leverages data from available 2D migrated stacks and, when applicable, integrates multi-vintage 3D seismic surveys.
While 2D seismic data remains crucial for early exploration, it can sometimes fall short in providing lateral continuity. Pseudo3D solves this issue by employing post-stack data-driven techniques, achieving pre-stack quality results with less complexity.
