Introducing Our New Geoscience Manager – Uwe Strecker
We are excited to announce Uwe Strecker as our new Geoscience Manager at dGB Earth Sciences in Enschede!
With more than 25 years of expertise in geophysics, geology, seismic interpretation (both qualitative and quantitative), apatite fission-track thermochronology, M&A, divestitures, and business development within the E&P sector, Uwe brings extensive knowledge to our team. He will oversee business development and training efforts across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while also leading seismic interpretations for the oil and gas industry, as well as geothermal projects.
Uwe’s career highlights include AVO/QI interpretation of 2D, 3D, and 4D seismic data during the entire oil field life cycle, CO2 exploration license applications, exploration, prospecting and field development initiatives worldwide, and direct prediction of reservoir properties through AI and ML geophysics workflows. He has led more than 20 academic and industry workshops on seismic attribute analysis and is an established author on seismic reservoir characterization for both conventional and unconventional reservoirs (including shale gas and oil shale). Additionally, Uwe has contributed to USDOE gas hydrate research reports and has received numerous accolades, including being a FULBRIGHT scholar and recipient of the prestigious J.D. Love Field Scholarship and serving as an AAPG webinar lecturer.
We are thrilled to have Uwe join our team and look forward to the valuable contributions he will make. Please join us in welcoming him aboard!
