OpendTect Training in Enschede: 3 September-7 September 2012
Course Content:
This 5-day seismic interpretation training course starts with a 3-day OpendTect introductory training followed by two days work on our new plugin e.g. HorizonCube. In the introductory course participants are trained in all aspects of OpendTect. A range of cutting edge techniques is explored: seismic attribute analysis, seismic object detection (fault detection, fluid migration / chimney detection), neural network clustering, seismic filtering and data enhancement, seismic inversion and sequence stratigraphic interpretation. Participants will learn background theories and see examples from all over the world. However, the emphasis is on hands-on training. Participants will perform exercises on a 3D seismic data set from the Dutch North Sea.
During the last two days of the course you can generate a HorizonCube on your own data or on a dataset provided by us.
The course is designed for seismic interpreters who want to get more out of their data than what is done conventionally.
