Press Release- Sugar Land, TX- dGB Earth Sciences announces appointment of Dr. Kristofer Tingdahl as its new Executive Vice President - Americas, effective September 1, 2008. Friso Brouwer will assume the responsibility of Chief Operating Officer - Americas. Fred Aminzadeh, the current president and CEO, will leave management of dGB-USA as of August 31, 2008 to pursue other career opportunities. Dr. Aminzadeh who has been instrumental in the start up and growth of dGB-USA for almost 10 years, will have an advisory role at dGB.

dGB-USA CEO and President, and SEG President, Fred Aminzadeh, will be a featured speaker at the "Frontier of Geophysics Technology" webcast on August 5, 2008.
"This exclusive webcast will address the most critical technology issues in geophysics, including advances in seismic, gravity, electromagnetic, aeromagnetic, and magnetotelluric technologies. A special emphasis will be placed on challenging hydrocarbon environments, such as deepwater, subsalt, and nonconventional gas."
Four current and past presidents of SEG are headlining the webcast: Fred Aminzadeh, SEG 2007-2008 President, and President of dGB USA Larry Lines, SEG 2008-2009 President-Elect and head of the Geology & Geophysics Department at the University of Calgary Leon Thomsen, SEG 2006-2007 President and Delta Geophysics Chief Consultant Mike Bahorich, SEG 2002-2003 President and Apache Petroleum Corp. Executive Vice-President Bob Williams, former Executive Editor of Oil & Gas Journal and currently Director of Research for the Oil & Gas Journal Research Center, will moderate the webcast.
