At the AAPG 2006 annual convention in Houston, dGB will preview SSIS (Sequence Stratigraphic Interpretation System). This OpendTect plugin allows seismic data to be flattened (Wheeler transformed) in chrono-stratigraphic time, and allows subsequent system tract analysis.

dGB and STARK Research signed a Technology Alliance Agreement to develop and market innovative seismic interpretation products in OpendTect. STARK Research will develop functionality around their patented "Age volume", which will complement dGB's SSIS plugin (SSIS=Sequence Stratigraphic Interpretation System).
