Join us for a Webinar on June 5
This month's webinar will present three useful rock physics modeling workflows, using the "Profile" mode of dGB's all new plugin - SynthRock. The first workflow will describe how to generate simple tuning wedge models, from existing well data, to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the seismic amplitude variation with layer thickness, at various frequencies. The second workflow will deal with the application of Gassmann's fluid replacement algorithm on the well data and simple models based on them, to analyze the changes in elastic and seismic response with change in the pore fluid in the reservoir. Finally, the deterministic modelling of rock property variations (e.g. porosity) and analysis of their associated changes on the elastic and seismic response will be the subject of the third workflow.
